A Rumble in the Streets

Masses of bikers, their families and friends will be making their way to Ramsgate KZN South Africa for the annual bike rally that fills the streets every year.

An experience not to be missed, Africa Bike Week sees Harley Davidsons and other bikes take to the streets to celebrate their passion. Spectators gather every year to see the bikers make their way along the streets of Ramsgate and to enjoy the street parties, live music, ride-in bike shows and general family orientated atmosphere.

Already in its 110th year, the celebrations will be started by William J. “Bill” Davidson, the vice president of Harley Davidson Museum who is also the great grandson of the founder, William A. Davidson.

Over the coming weekend, spectators get the chance to get up close and personal with the Harley Davidson bikes and H.O.G.® members can take the time to get to know one another. The weekend will end with a mass ride out that includes a colourful Parade of Flags.

Africa Bike Week also presents an opportunity to support the less fortunate as official charity tents are set up in the area. Since bikers and their families do come from all over the country, accommodation is readily available in and around Ramsgate KZN South Africa so bring your family and join in on this exciting event.
